Terms of Service

Worknotes is a software-as-a-service platform that helps teams automatically generate product updates from completed work items by:

• Connecting to project management tools like Linear and Azure DevOps
• Using artificial intelligence to transform ticket information into polished content
• Publishing updates to hosted changelog pages
• Distributing email notifications to contact lists
• Providing analytics and engagement tracking

To use Worknotes, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Worknotes offers subscription-based access with the following terms:

• Free Trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features
• Monthly Subscription: $14.99 per month, billed monthly
• Usage Limits: Up to 1,000 email sends per month
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

We take your privacy seriously and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy:

• We access only the project data you specifically authorize through API connections
• Ticket information is processed to generate changelog content using AI services
• Contact lists and email data are stored securely and used only for your campaigns
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data
• You retain ownership of all content and data you provide to the service

You agree not to use Worknotes for any of the following purposes:

• Sending spam, unsolicited emails, or violating anti-spam laws
• Distributing malicious content, viruses, or harmful software
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Using the service to compete with or reverse engineer our platform

Worknotes and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for its intended purpose.

Content you generate using our AI features is owned by you, subject to our right to process it as necessary to provide the service.

Worknotes integrates with third-party services including Linear, Azure DevOps, and email providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability. We provide email support for technical issues and account questions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Worknotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be immediately suspended
• We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for data export
• You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
• We may delete your data after the retention period

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of Worknotes after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
